What is Axia E and how does it differ from the rest of the range?
Axia E is a 5th, entry-level variant sold below G at RM22,000. It's manual transmission only (5-speed, no D-CVT automatic option), has no factory audio system, central locking or wireless alarm, rides on steel rims instead of alloy, and has a smaller body than G/X/SE/AV. It shares the same 1.0L engine and Electric Power Steering as the rest of the range. It's aimed at fleet, rental and absolute-minimum-budget buyers comfortable with a manual gearbox — most private buyers will want Axia G instead.
What is the difference between Axia G and X?
The X adds LED headlamps with auto ON/OFF, front corner sensors, keyless entry, push-start, tilt steering and two extra speakers over the G, which has halogen headlamps and a standard 2-front-speaker audio system.
Is Axia SE worth upgrading from X?
SE adds ECO Idle, digital air-conditioning, Daytime Running Lights, front/side skirting, a rear spoiler, Power Mode Drive and semi-bucket seats. It suits buyers who want better fuel economy and a sportier look, not just extra convenience.
Is Axia AV worth the additional price?
AV is the only variant with 6 airbags, Advanced Safety Assist (A.S.A.), lane-departure warning/prevention, blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, auto high beam and a reverse camera. It's worth it if crash-avoidance safety features are a priority.
