What is collected

Aggregate page-view statistics through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is measured without cookies and without building a profile of visitors. It records that a page was viewed, roughly from where, and how quickly it loaded. It does not record who you are.

Google Analytics, which does use cookies. Two of them, _ga and _ga_G-ZQ24TGVWX6, are set by this domain and last two years. They hold a randomly generated number that tells one browser apart from another so a returning visit is not counted twice. That number is not a name, and nothing on this site ever asks for one.

Alongside page views, five things are counted, all of them about the cars rather than about you: which variants you put side by side, which variant a recommendation lands on, the monthly instalment band you settle on in the calculator, which of the two cars a comparison page sends you into, and clicks out to a manufacturer. Google processes this on servers outside Malaysia. An ad blocker or privacy extension stops all of it, and the site works exactly the same without it.

Requests to this site pass through Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and abuse prevention, as any web host does.

What is not collected

• No accounts, no sign-in, no newsletter, no contact form, no leads passed to anyone.
• No advertising network and no advertising or cross-site tracking pixels.
• No name, email, phone number or address, because there is nowhere on this site to enter one.
• Not the price you type into the instalment calculator, and not the instalment it works out. Only the RM100 band that instalment falls into, with the loan term and the down payment percentage. A band cannot be read back as anyone’s finances, which is the point of using one.
• Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with a manufacturer or dealer about an individual visitor.

Links out to other sites

Links to manufacturer websites pass through a /go/address on this domain so the click can be counted in aggregate, both in the server logs and in Google Analytics. No personal data is attached, and nothing about you is passed to the manufacturer beyond what your browser sends to any site you visit. Once you arrive, that site’s own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have rights of access and correction over personal data held about you. This site holds no record that could identify you, so there is nothing here to look up: the analytics number in your browser is not attached to a name, which also means a request to produce “your” data cannot be matched to a person. Clearing your cookies for this domain deletes it, and a blocker prevents it being set at all.
