Premium adds auto LED headlamps with follow-me-home, a full LED rear tail light bar, leatherette seats and steering wheel, automatic air-conditioning, front parking sensors, a reverse camera, auto-folding door mirrors and a rear centre armrest. Executive keeps fabric seats, halogen projector headlamps, manual air-conditioning, rear parking sensors only and cruise control with a speed limiter — but neither variant has the camera-based ADAS suite.
Is Proton S70 Flagship worth the extra price over Premium?
Flagship adds the full Level 2 ADAS suite (Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Departure Warning/Prevention, Lane Centering Control, Traffic Sign Information, Intelligent High Beam Control), plus the 360° HD camera, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, dual-zone auto air-conditioning, wireless charger, six speakers, security tint and a six-way powered driver's seat. Premium's plain reverse camera is replaced by the 360° system on Flagship.
What does Proton S70 Flagship X add over Flagship?
Flagship X adds Proton's factory aerokit (front accent, side skirtings, rear diffuser and boot lid spoiler) and a black headliner. The 2026 MC1 drops the panoramic sunroof that the pre-facelift Flagship X had — equipment is otherwise identical to Flagship, including the full ADAS suite and 360° camera.
Does Proton S70 Executive have any driver-assist safety features?
Executive has 6 airbags, ABS, Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, Hill Hold Assist, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Collision Warning and Door Opening Warning as standard. It does not have the camera-based ADAS suite (AEB, ACC, LDW/LDP, etc.) — that starts from Flagship.
Which Proton S70 variant has a reverse camera?
Only Premium has a simple reverse camera. Executive has no camera at all. Flagship and Flagship X replace it with a 360° HD camera system with a 3D display instead, which covers the reverse view plus more.
What engine does the 2026 Proton S70 use?
All four variants share the new i-GT 1.5-litre turbocharged direct-injection four-cylinder engine producing 181 PS and 290 Nm, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. This replaces the previous 1.5-litre three-cylinder (150 PS / 226 Nm) from the 2023 launch.
