What is the difference between Proton X50 Executive and Premium?
Premium adds the full ADAS suite (Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Departure Warning/Prevention, Lane Centering Control, Traffic Sign Information, Intelligent High Beam Control), plus the 360° camera, wireless charger, front welcome lamps, roof rails, power tailgate, leatherette seats, driver power seat, security tint and multicolour ambient light. Executive drops all of these but keeps a basic reverse camera and cruise control with a speed limiter, which Premium doesn't have.
Is Proton X50 Flagship worth the extra price over Premium?
Flagship adds Auto Park Assist (the only variant with it), a panoramic sunroof, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, semi-transparent sun visors, sportier rear spoiler, 18-inch wheels (vs 17-inch) and 6 parking sensors front and rear (vs 2 front/4 rear). The ADAS suite and 360° camera are already standard from Premium, so Flagship is mainly a comfort and parking-convenience upgrade.
Does Proton X50 Executive have any driver-assist safety features?
Executive has 6 airbags, ABS, Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, Hill Hold Assist, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Collision Warning and Door Opening Warning as standard. It does not have the camera-based ADAS suite (AEB, ACC, LDW/LDP, etc.) — that starts from Premium.
Which Proton X50 variant has a reverse camera?
Only the Executive has a simple reverse camera. Premium and Flagship replace it with a 360° HD camera system with a 180° transparent-view mode instead, which covers the reverse view plus more.
