What is the difference between City S and E?
E adds automatic air-conditioning (S has manual), an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (S has radio with Bluetooth only), eight speakers (S has four), a rear USB port, remote engine start, auto headlamps with follow-me-home and auto-fold door mirrors. Both share Honda Sensing, six airbags, ACC, a multi-angle reverse camera and rear parking sensors on 15-inch alloys.
What is the difference between City E and V?
V upgrades to LED reflector headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels and front fog lamps, plus leather seats and a leather steering wheel. E and V both have wired Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, automatic air-conditioning, eight speakers and remote engine start, neither has wireless mirroring or the multi-view camera.
What is the difference between City V and RS?
RS adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the multi-view camera system, Honda Connect telematics, a 7-inch digital and analogue combination meter, RS bodykit trim (9 mm longer at 4,589 mm) and leather with RS Ultrasuede seats. V keeps wired CarPlay and a conventional reverse camera only.
Which City variant has Honda Sensing?
All five variants (S, E, V, RS and e:HEV RS) include Honda Sensing with Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control. The e:HEV RS adds Low Speed Follow to ACC.
Which City variant has wireless Apple CarPlay?
RS and e:HEV RS have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. S has no CarPlay at all. E and V have wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through the 8-inch touchscreen.
Which City variant has a 360-degree camera?
Only RS and e:HEV RS have the multi-view camera system. S, E and V have a multi-angle reverse camera without the full 360° view.
Is City e:HEV RS worth the premium over RS?
e:HEV RS is worth it if you want the i-MMD hybrid rated at 3.6 L/100km combined and can accept the smaller 410 L boot (petrol variants offer 519 L). Equipment is otherwise aligned with RS (wireless CarPlay, multi-view camera, Honda Connect and RS trim) but you pay roughly RM12,000 more on the August 2023 price list.

Every City shares Honda Sensing (AEB, FCW, LDW, ACC), six SRS airbags, smart entry with push start, a multi-angle reverse camera, rear parking sensors, VSA, ABS/EBD/BA, TCS, Hill Start Assist, a security alarm, tilt and telescopic steering, ECON mode and a 2,600 mm wheelbase. Petrol variants measure 4,580 mm long (RS and e:HEV RS are 4,589 mm with the bodykit).
